Development of Arabic Language Teaching Materials for Madrasah Tsanawiyah

Abstract

The development of Arabic language teaching materials for Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) represents an effort to enhance the quality of Arabic instruction in alignment with curriculum requirements and contemporary needs. This research aims to produce teaching materials that are effective, engaging, and suited to the characteristics of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The development process demonstrates that the designed materials facilitate interactive and enjoyable learning by incorporating linguistic, cultural, and contextual elements relevant to the students. The content covers grammar as well as communication skills—such as daily conversation, writing, and text comprehension. By providing these structured materials tailored to student needs, it is anticipated that both learning motivation and Arabic language proficiency among Madrasah Tsanawiyah students will improve significantly.
