The Influence of Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) Management on Student Leadership Character at State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) 29 Jakarta

This study aims to determine the effect of intra-school student organization (OSIS) management on student leadership character at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 29 Jakarta. In this study, using a quantitative approach method with correlation analysis techniques to test the relationship between intra-school student organization management as the independent variable and leadership character as the dependent variable. The results showed that after applying management functions including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising there was a significant increase in leadership character. In addition, the linearity test shows that the relationship between the two variables is linear, which means that the better the management of the intra-school student organization, the more the leadership character of students will improve. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the management of intra-school student organizations contributes positively to the formation of leadership character, although it is not yet optimal. Therefore, the management of intra-school student organizations needs to be improved.
